My newer truck has the integrated brake controller which sometimes won’t connect to the trailer or randomly disconnects. The #9107A Brake Force Meter from IPA® is the only tool that works on my truck to establish a connection and trick it into thinking there’s a trailer connected. With the 25’ cord, I can test all tow lights and verify output gain without needing a second person. The tool even taught me how to test my brakes by showing what my truck is putting out when I step on the pedal.
