A Penetrating Sealer That Is Permanent
Also, They Have a Flexible Sealer.
The Resch’s have been using and developing sealers that work, over the last 35 years. Most sealers last from 1-3 years and then we do it all over again. X-tend sealers are a permanent solution to this problem because the silicone base sealer penetrates into the surface and gives a permanent protection. The penetrated silicone has been tested for over 60 years showing very little UV breakdown, which is the biggest enemy to any sealer or paint. Most surfaces can be permanently protected, such as blacktop & concrete driveways, steps, sidewalks, barnyard slabs, brick, stone, asphalt shingles, log homes, decks, shakes, sidings, canvas, cloth, plastic, fiberglass and steel surfaces and the list goes on. The sealer enhances the color of faded pavers and protects and helps holds the color. The sealer protects the natural color or stained color of wood. The sealer protects concrete and wood from oil, gasoline, salts, all weather elements & most acids and chemicals. Over the last 35 yrs. we have also used and handled a very flexible sealer that can be used on surfaces that get a lot of movement such as campers, motor homes, semi- trailers, trailer houses, etc. It works great on any kind of roof surface especially steel roofs that have a lot of expansion & contraction movement. The sealer will withstand ponding water. So it can be used on basement walls, in cisterns, tanks & other water holding devises. They also have a caulking made with the same matching characteristics as the sealer. Also, they offer a flexible mesh, similar to fiberglass mesh for the metal and rolled roofing seams. This strengthens the sealer to provide a permanent protection over the seams and screws. Besides many home uses there are many more commercial and industrial uses. The preservation of the protected surface is very inexpensive over the long haul. They still have roofs shedding water after 35 years.
