Wheeled Mini Excavator Rotates 360 Degrees
This new 2-wheeled mini excavator from the United Kingdom is small enough to fit through a garden gate and you can push it around like a wheelbarrow.
It can spin around in a circle, and is small enough to fit into the back of a pickup. It can be towed by a car, ATV or even a garden tractor.
The 5-ft. wide excavator has a 5-ft. long reach and can dig down about 4 1/2 ft. It can be powered by a 6 or 9 hp gas engine, or a diesel engine. It weighs about 550 lbs.        The machine uses its hydraulic excavating arm to pull itself forward, backward or side to side. Because the excavator can rotate 360 degrees, it can then dig over its wheels and use the rear spades as anchors, resulting in a lot of tearout force. And because it’s on wheels and is lightweight, it won’t damage the turf like tracked machines.
The manufacturer is based in the UK and sells the excavator throughout the world. They sell the machine as plans and also in various kit forms so you can build your own. They can supply drawings as 3D CAD files, allowing you to make changes and build the machine to your specifications.
The company is looking for a U.S. distributor.
You can watch the machine in action at www.farmshow.com.
