Stainless Steel 2x2 Fertilizer Tube for Case IH Planters - Schaffert Mfg. Co. has developed a new formed compact stainless steel fertilizer tube for Case IH planters that injects fertilizer 2x2 into the slice opened by the IH cover disc. The tube bolts directly to the planter unit, moving independently of the covering disc bracket. This eliminates fertilizer
on the planter, press wheel, and on top of the ground. It also eliminates dragging trash. The 2x2 tube incorporates fertilizer deep into moist soil.
Chicken Track Closer - The Chicken Track Closer is designed to take the place of the original Case IH planter press wheel. It mulches and mellows soil over the seed bed rather than smearing soil like solid press wheels. Pressure is applied at three points over the tread on the chicken tracks at all times, firming soil around the seed. It is easy to install and helps eliminate mud build-up.
Gauge Wheel Scraper for Case IH 1200 Planters - In 2014 Schaffert
Mfg. introduced a new gauge wheel scraper for Case IH 1200 planters. These gauge wheel scrapers
will give you a clean tire in all wet planting conditions, keeping the planter units from riding out of the ground. This plastic scraper bolts on the inside of the gauge wheel arm and has vertical slotted holes with horizontal holes in the bracket to allow in-and-out and up-and-down movement to fit the gauge wheel tires properly. The Case IH gauge wheel scraper is very easy to install without drilling any holes.
Re-designed Press Wheel Scraper - Schaffert Mfg.’s Case IH press wheel scraper has been re-designed to take on the shape of the tire. A wedge was added to bend the scraper around the tire so that its curve fits the tire’s contour.
Updated Rebounder Bracket - The Rebounder

The G2 fertilizer disc offers a revolutionary
method of applying larger quantities
of fertilizer 2”-3” to the side of the row and up to 2” deep. This 8” single disc opener adds only 11 pounds per row. The compact design eliminates having to find room in front or behind the planter for much larger, heavier, and more expensive fertilizer solutions. In a 3-year fertilizer application study (2011-2013) by Ken Ferrie of Farm Journal Magazine the G2 fertilizer disc topped their yield trials.
Schaffert Mfg. recently redesigned the G2 arm brackets for Kinze and Monosem planters. The new bracket allows the back press wheel to run evenly with the front press wheel, keeping constant pressure on both wheels. The farmer no longer has to cut into the Kinze or Monosem tail section to achieve proper balance.
The G2 also mounts to the press wheel brackets of John Deere, Great Plains, White, and Yetter planters. It is easy to install, and works very will with Mohawk and Zipper angled spike closing wheels.
