High-Temp Sealant Fills Holes In Exhausts ENGINES Engines 19-4-29 Seal cracks, pin holes and pits in manifolds and other exhaust system components with this new high temperature compound. Pyro Putty 2400 is a ceramic and metal-filled paste that bonds to steel and stainless steel. It resists temperatures to 2000 degrees F and can be used to seal cracks or holes up to 1/2 in. across.
