How To Brand Your Meat
You can give friends a meal to remember by burning your own “brand” onto their steak before serving it up.
Hand-forged barbeque branding irons can be personalized with up to 4 initials. For ranchers who already have their own brand the company can make a nearly perfect miniature copy of the full-size brand.
“It’s made from hand-forged steel and is a high-quality product,” says Debby Smith, T-Bone Brands, Scottsdale, Arizona. “You put the iron in the coals or directly in the fire of a gas grill. After grilling the first side of the meat, flip it and brand the meat on the cooked side. Letters are 1 1/4 in. high.”
Prices for an iron with one or two initials start at $25 plus S&H.
