Simple Clamp-On Bucket Forks
“I built a set of clamp-on pallet forks for my compact loader tractor. They fasten to the lip of the bucket with 1/2-in. set screws, which makes attaching and removing the forks a fast and easy job,” says Cory Pleschourt, Northfield, Minn.
The forks are made out of 1 by 2-in. rectangular tubing and have angle iron brackets welded to them made out of 3 by 3 by 1/2-in. steel. A pair of 5/16-in. thick metal spacers are welded to the underside of the bucket to keep the forks level.
“It takes only about 30 seconds to loosen the set screws and take the forks off,” notes Pleschourt.
