Red-Power Hydraulic Doors “New” Cylinder Design
‘Red Power’ Hydraulic Doors By Schweiss
“Anyone can tell you what you want to hear about their product and how good it is. But when it comes to investing in a hydraulic door, whether it be for tough agricultural or industrial use or even for something as decorative and functional as a designer door for your residence or commercial use, you don’t want to try to save a few dollars on a cheap product that could cost you in the future,” says Mike Schweiss, CEO of Schweiss Red Power Hydraulic and Bifold farm doors.

Schweiss stands out above the rest
Experience is the best teacher. Schweiss Doors has proven that over the past 30-plus years they’ve been in business. While other companies are just learning or going out of business, Schweiss has been in it for the long run.
“Over the years, we’ve continually made improvements to our hydraulic doors and components. We deliver the best hydraulic door at the best price,” says Schweiss.
Customers have repeatedly told us they like our hydraulic doors. They’re liking them even more now because of the new Red Power Hydraulic Pump, the addition of “spherical” bearings and a beefed-up hinge system that contains removeable hinge pins and grease zerks. They’re powerful with fewer moving parts, require less headroom, save on building costs, are easy to insulate, maintain, and install.

Farmers love hydraulic doors
Red Power doors have become the most popular door on the farm market. Because farm equipment keeps getting bigger, Schweiss Doors has found a comfortable niche with farmers building new machine sheds.
“Our sales have continued to skyrocket. The same doors we sell to farmers also go to industries, airports and private hangars,” said Schweiss.

back-up systems
Red Power doors have three backup systems: DC Battery-Motorized, Drill-Driven or with tractor fittings to lift your door. Emergency door lowering is simple as turning a screw on the pump if there’s a power outage, and they cost no more than those “little black pumps” used by other manufacturers.”
The Red Power system has the most efficient pump on the market. It’s shipped in a complete package and can be top, underhung or mounted on your wall, floor, or in a backroom. Your control station is always near your door for safe operation.

Bigger, Better, Safer, Cylinders
Big doors are a large moving end or sidewall. Two powerful cylinders carry the entire weight of the door.
“You won’t see our large cylinders bend, bow or break like others who seem to prefer to make their door cylinders and cylinder connections using a poorly designed, cheaper option,” said Schweiss. “Our industrial-rated cylinders, tubes and rods are sized larger to hold the door weights.”

Spherical Bearings are Unique
Spherical bearings are something no other manufacturer puts into their doors. They are located between the teardrop area and cylinder plate at each end of the doors’ cylinders, a perfect answer to a stronger, longer-lasting door.
Spherical bearings are important wherever there is rotational motion as in a moving door frame that’s raised with hydraulic cylinders. These bearings allow change to the alignment of its axis, eliminating stress on the hydraulic cylinders.
