The World’s First Revolutionary Hand-Held Gas-Powered Post Driver
REDI Driver is the world’s first hand-held gas-powered post driver on the market. The REDI Driver eliminates the need for compressors and hoses. The hammer action is powered by a HONDA GX35 engine; a 4-stroke, air cooled engine that can operate “any side up”. REDI Driver Inc is a USA HONDA certified OEM, and is the sole distributor for the USA & Canada. It is priced at $1,650, which includes shipping in the continental U.S.A.
The driver was developed 3 years ago by Christie Engineering in Australia, and has withstood the test of the harsh outback conditions with glowing reviews. “We have been in the fencing business for 30 years, and when we tried this product, we knew we had a winner,” says Lorri Evans from REDI Driver. “It’s perfect for anyone who installs a lot of T-posts, fence posts, grounding rods, wooden stakes, and more.” Evans says, “There are a number of accessories available for driving posts from ½ in. up to 2 7/8 in.”
The entire driver weighs only 32 lbs. and delivers a powerful 28 blows per second. Evans also says, “It’s very affordable and efficient to operate. We have reports of driving up to 1,000 posts on a gallon of gas.” The compact HONDA engine is what makes many of the features possible; it is small in size, but delivers more than a pound of torque at 5,500 rpm’s.
