Stockings For Your Tractor
Instead of looking for a stocking stuffer for the tractor fanatic in your family, how about giving a tractor stocking? Jennifer Gingell, and some local Metamora, Mich., seamstresses have fabric and patches for many tractor models: Allis-Chalmers, Cockshutt, Farmall, IH, Massey Harris, Massey Ferugson, Minneapolis Moline, Hart, Keystone and Oliver. John Deere fans are out of luck, as Gingell isn’t licensed with them.
The 16-in. long stockings are made of cotton, lined with a quilted fabric to give them bulk and topped with fleece cuffs and patches. They sell for $16.95 retail, but she’s offering $2 off each stocking to Farm Show readers who use the coupon code “Farm Show” when checking out on her website business.
Gingell also sells caps, emblems, tractor theme fabric, handmade tractor quilts ($450/queen), a full line of tractor repair videos and other items.
