Tom Goodman, Malone, N.Y.: "The DR Brush Hog walk-behind mower that I bought used in 2000 is a great machine and does everything the company says it will (ph 800 687-6575; www.drpower.com). Last year I built a 2-wheeled wood hauler that simply bolts on in place of the deck. The box rides on a pair of swivel wheels so it's easy to steer.
"I used some old bed rails to build the frame and maple wood to build the bottom and sides. The box measures 30 by 32 in. and is small enough to fit through my garage man door. My only expense was for the swivel wheels. It works great and I can still use the mower."
