Foam Enhancer Beefs Up Markers
The Foam Marker Enhancer from Hiawatha Valley Farm Store consists of replacement drop nozzles for standard generic foam markers. They add extra aeration to produce a higher quality foam and are designed to better withstand impact and ground dragging when boom ends hit or sway too close to the ground.
"We sell spraying equipment so we know that some of the generic foam markers really struggle to produce a quality foam," explains Phil Fuchs, Hiawatha Valley Farm Store. "We developed a device that agitates the soap and water one more time, just before it drops to the ground. Then we added the heavy-duty dauber at the end."
Fuchs has been selling the units locally for about four years. He says customers have been well satisfied.
"The foam mark is much more visible, and the dauber holds up much better," he says. "We offer a money back guarantee if customers aren't satisfied."
Foam Marker Enhancers are available for both single line and double line marking systems. Enhancers are also adapted to varying size lines.
"All we need to know is the line diameter at the end of the boom, and we match it," he says. "We can adjust for everything from 1/4-in. to 1-in. lines."
Foam Marker Enhancers are available for $99.95 plus shipping.
