National Kiddie Tractor Pullers
I am the builder of the "Exciter", a champion pulling tractor that ran in competition 12 years, winning over 150 trophies, plaques and awards. It's aFarmall M that was "souped up" with a 440 cu. in. Chrysler alcohol-burning engine with an automatic transmission coupled to a homemade gear-driven transmission. The tractor was inducted into the National Tractor Pulling Museum of Classics in Bowling Green, Ohio, in 1985. Now I have built a 1/16-scale model of the Exciter. I did all the pattern work myself and I also do all assembly and painting. It is now on the market as-a limited edition and is attracting lots of attention from toy tractor collectors. It won first place awards at two shows in 1989 as best custom model. Sells for $100 for the basic model. Accessories available. (Dale Woodliff, Rt. 1, Box 15, Kendall, Wis. 54638)
