Transparent Toaster
Transparent Toaster

No more burned toast - that's the idea behind this transparent toaster that gives you a clear view of the bread.

Clear panes of "heated glass" allow you to see the toast as it cooks. The glass is insulated (two layers with an air gap) so if you touch the outside of the glass you won't burn your fingers. The design company behind the idea, says the problem is they haven't found a glass yet that will get hot enough to toast the bread so it's really just an idea at this point (www.inventables.com).
