If you do a lot of shop work and can use one of the best rust and paint removers money can buy, the new "Scavenger" from Chicago Monarch may be worth looking into.
It's rough and rugged, and is available with both a cutter head and wire brush head. It removes paint, rust and scale without dust, and can also be used to prepare concrete floors for patching.
Available in an air-drive model which requires a 3 to 5 hp compressor which delivers a minimum of 22 cfm at 90 lbs. psi. Electric models operate off 110 v. and are rated at 2,300 rpm. Prices range from $275 for air to $295 for electric.
