Safety Switch Desconnects Battery
"We test marketed it with a sample group of farmers and had excellent response," says Jim Kloster, inventor, manufacturer and marketer of a first-of-its-kind battery disconnect safety switch.
This new Paragon safety switch attaches to any top terminal post battery, providing a quick means of disconnecting the battery.
The safety switch acts as a deterrant for unauthorized use of autos, trucks, or tractors. "Even if would-be thieves hot wire a vehicle, they can't start it if this switch is opened. Since it's a new product, they aren't familiar with it and would most likely overlook it," Kloster points out. "It also provides a quick disconnect in case of fire or other types of emergencies. Lifting the knife blade switch before servicing a vehicle eliminates possible shorts or dangerous sparks."
The switch is made of cast brass and copper components. Retails for $18.95 and will go on either the positive or negative terminal.
