Sensor tester checks your electronics COMBINES Accessories 16-3-25 Testing virtually any type of electronic monitor - including grain loss pads - is easy with this new Sensor Tester developed by Bruce Nelson, Aurora, Colo.
"We've tested it extensively over the past two years in equipment dealerships. Works on magnetic, impact, and photoelectric sensors used by all manufacturers, including seed tube monitors, shaft speed sensors, position sensors, bin sensors and any other monitor used on tractors, combines and other equipment. Eliminates the need to `test by substitution' with new parts - you can check the actual part while it's still on the machine. It'll even test ganged sensors so you can isolate wiring problems," says Nelson.
The tester is powered by a 9-volt battery and is just 2 3/8 by 3 3/4 by 1 in. in size. Requires no adapters or calibration. Sells for $54.95. "We've had tremendous interest from dealers but farmers who do their own maintenance will also find it'll save them a lot of time and hassle," points out Nelson.
