Moss Recipe For Do-It-Yourselfers
If you like the look of moss-covered rock or brick, here's a "recipe" we found on the internet that'll get you started.
You need 1 can of beer, 1/2 tsp. sugar, several clumps of garden moss, a plastic container with lid, a blender and a paint brush.
Crumple the moss into a blender. Then, add the beer and sugar and blend enough to create a smooth paste and pour it into the plastic container.
Next, you need to have a damp and shady wall to apply the "moss milkshake." You can "paint" it on solid with a brush, or paint on designs or even words to create "moss graffiti." The design will grow out and be clearly visible before growing together in a solid pattern.
