Non-Slip Trailer Floor Boards
Cattle and horses won't slip on these new "no-rot" floorboards made from recycled materials, according to the manufacturer.
Designed to replace wood floors in live-stock trailers, the new material is less slippery than wood and has 1-in. wide by 1/2-in. high cleats for better traction.
Best of all, they'll never wear out or rot like wooden flooring, notes distributor Ronnie Shelby.
The boards come in 12 and 14-in. widths. Price ranges from $18 to $25 depending on length (72 or 84 in.) desired. Guaranteed for 20 years.
Shelby charges from $220 to $380 to retrofit an existing trailer. The new floor-boards are also being offered on some new trailers.
