High-Powered Cordless Vacuum
Vacuum manufacturers have been trying to eliminate power cords for a long time, but the lack of quality batteries has resulted in low suction power and poor results. But now Westinghouse has introduced a cordless vacuum that promises to set new standards in wireless power.
The key to the "Unplugged" vacuum is a quick-switch battery system. Two batteries are included along with a charging station. Each battery pack lasts 30 min. and the charging system can fully charge the batteries in 30 min. as well. This means that while one battery is powering the vacuum, the other can charge to its full capacity. After the first battery runs out, the other one takes its place in a matter of seconds.
In addition to the convenience of a cordless design, the Unplugged has all the features of a traditional high-end vacuum such as a 4-stage HEPA air filter, extendable wand attachment, and a clear, bagless container system.
The Unplugged also has two separate motors, one for the suction and another for the rotating brush. This means that there are no belts to replace. The two motors also allow for a quieter operation as opposed to larger, louder single motor vacuums.
The Unplugged Vacuum sells for $299.99 and is available from many appliance retailers as well as on the internet.
