Cow Had Triplets
My sister-in-law Patricia Pipes and her sons own a cow which had triplets last spring (see photo). This amazing cross between a red angus and a hereford has had 13 calves in 6 years û three sets of twins, two sets of triplets and a single. The first set of triplets were all females. The latest set is all male. A veterinarian told me he has been a vet for 19 years and had never seen a set of triplets born live. When these were born, their ankles were stiff but now they're all okay. (Winifred Swiggins, Golenford, Ohio)
