Canes, Putters Made From Bull's Private Parts
The perfect gift for the guy who has everything might be a walking cane or golf putter made from the reproductive organ of a bull or buffalo.
The "Pure Bull Peter Putter" is made from a real bull organ with a 5/16-in. dia. steel rod inserted all the way through it. It has a leather grip and a brass putting head. It's custom made to the height of the person ordering it and comes with a personalized brass name plate.
Inventor Ross Taylor skins and cleans the bull organ. The organs are then dried on a rack for about three weeks.
Taylor also uses bull organs to make walking canes and shoe horns.
"They're absolutely beautiful," says Taylor. "In the days of the Old West people made bull organ canes, which were used by such celebrities as Doc Holiday and Bat Masterson.
"The putter is available in left or right hand models. The shoe horns can be custom made to any length so handicapped people can put shoes on easy. If you have a special coin or an item from a loved one - such as an earring, cuff link, medal, tie tack, etc. - we can inlay that into any of the items. We often inlay Indianhead pennies or buffalo nickels."
Golf putters and walking canes with an in-laid Indianhead penny or buffalo nickel and a custom made plate with your name on it sell for $89, including S&H. Shoe horns sell for $59 including S&H.
