Followup To Electronic Animal Immobilizer
There was a mistake in your article about our Electronic Animal Immobilizer (Vol. 26, No. 3). The article stated that we are bringing back a product that was on the market in the early 1980's called "Stock Still". That was wrong. We are in no way associated with the Stock Still. Our Animal Immobilizer wasn't even invented back then. Our mechanism for immobilizing an animal is completely different. The Stock Still had serious side effects, which is why it was not successful. Our product has no negative effects on the animal and is safe for both the handler and animal. In fact, one of our biggest challenges has been to overcome the fears of ranchers and veterinarians because of their past experiences with the Stock Still.
