Baby Calf Restrainer
"One man can easily catch and work baby calves up to five days old with this new Baby Calf Restrainer," says Roger. Swihart, a distributor for the manufacturer, Agri Future, Isle, Minn.
Instead of tying a calf, you simply slide the restrainer over the animal, then lay it on its side for implanting, castrating, injections and other treatments. While in the Restrainer the calf is held tight and can't kick, or bawl for its mother.
Made of rigid steel rod, with wire mesh sides, the Restrainer weighs 11 lbs. and is easy to carry in your pick-up, or on a horse.
Sells for $98.95.
