Push Mower Caster Wheels
Eugene Gulgren, McHenry, Ill.: "I replaced the original front wheels on my push mower with a pair of small adjustable caster wheels. The caster wheels make it a lot easier to trim grass around yard fixtures such as benches, fence posts and under shrubs. I used short lengths of 2-in. angle iron to attach the wheels to the mower frame. One side of the angle iron was cut away to provide an upright which I attached to the mower frame. I fastened the wheels to the other side of the angle iron. The mower's original wheels were adjustable for height, and so are the caster wheels."
