Add On Coulter Puts Fertilizer in Row FERTILIZER APPLICATION Fertilizer Application (58f) 16-6-3 You'll like this new rear-mounted fertilizer attachment for Deere 7000 and 7200 planters that mounts behind row units instead of in front of them so you've got more room for other attachments such as no-till coulters.
The single coulter with a nozzle behind attaches to a spring-loaded bracket that mounts on the back end of each planter unit. Can be adjusted from side to side and down pressure can be changed as needed.
"It's low maintenance and easy to install.
With different row cleaning attachments and other no-till or minimum-till equipment being added to planters, it really helps to move one attachment to the rear of the planter," says Tim Allison, sales representative for S.I. Distributing.
Sells for $225 per row.
