"Rotatin" Utility Tractor
There's no wasted movement," says Michael Flannegan whose new loader tractor features a turret that rotates 360 degrees.
"For example, you can scoop up a load in front and dump it to the left or right without moving the tractor. It eliminates all the jockeying around you do with a conventional skid-steer or tractor loader," he says.
The "Orbiter" tractor is powered by a Briggs & Stratton (gas) or Deutz diesel engine of up to 45 hp. It features hydrostatic drive and Dana axles with 16-in. wheels.
The axles are spaced 6 ft. apart, the same as the wheelbase. That way, it's counter-balanced for exceptional stability, Flannegan notes. Overall length with bucket is 13 ft. and maximum reach is 12 ft. high. The bucket is available in 6 and 6 1/2-ft. widths.
Top speed in low range is 3 mph and 9 mph in high range.
Available as either 2 or 4-WD with capacity of 2,400 or 3,000-lb.
Optional attachments include telescopic zoom boom, breaker, trencher, torque hubs, rear-mounted backhoe, pallet forks, auger, post driver and industrial grapple.
  Prices start at $28,000.
