"Tree-Style" Garden Tood Organizer MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT Miscellaneous 22-4-37 You can reduce center pivot wheel ruts by replacing the original wheels with a new-style "walking wheel" that's fitted with hinged steel pads, says Pivot Products Co., Muleshoe, Texas.
The company's "Pad-A-Tracks" system was introduced at the recent 3I show near Great Bend, Kan. Each wheel has 10 steel "legs", each fitted with a 12 by 14-in. pad. Cleats on the bottom of each pad maximize traction. An "ankle" hinge lets the pads move smoothly across uneven terrain without leaving deep ruts.
Sells for $400.
