Sheet Metal Artists Work From Photos
You can have a favorite photograph turned into a custom designed piece of sheet metal artwork, says G & M Custom Designs, Oswego, Kan.
A plasma torch is used to cut 10 ga. sheet metal into black silhouettes. Each design is hand cut to your specifications. Names can be added. Design examples include rodeo action, animals, fishing and hunting scenes, farmsteads, ranch entrances, sports, store and business logos. They can be used as mailbox decorations, house markers, interior wall designs, or outside buildings.
Pieces sell for $20 and up, depending on the size and design.
