The 10-in. long tool consists of an aluminum tube that's curved at the end and fitted with a 1/2-in. long tapered silicone hose that serves as a grabber. You insert the tube through one of the holes in the outside wheel to grab the inside valve stem cap. The rubber handle on the tool makes it easy to unscrew the cap.
"Your hand can't fit through the hole, but the tool can. Without this tool you have to stick your hand between the tires in order to remove the valve stem cap," says Kuntz.
