Putty Fills Crack In Exhaust Manifold on Hercules Engine
Richard Bowman, Chambersburg, Penn.: "I used Pyro-Putty to fill a long 3/ 8-in. wide crack in the exhaust manifold on an old 855 Hercules engine. I think the re-pair is now stronger than the rest of the manifold. The putty stays in there even when the engine backfires. It's easy to use. You just work it into the crack and let the heat of the engine cure it. Works on headers, manifolds, mufflers, catalytic converts, and more." Contact: Aremco Products, Inc., P.O.
