No Trespass Sign Offers Friendly Message FARM HOME Miscellaneous 13-1-31 The problem with most "no trespassing" signs is they're too rude. "Keep Out" they scream. Or, "Violators will be prosecuted."
Sometimes they work, but often they don't. Some get peppered with buckshot. Others get torn down.
Now, there's a new "No Trespessing" sign that's expected to be more effective than traditional signs because of its firm but friendlier civil tone. The sign reads:
"NOTICE -- Use of this land by permission only. Please ask first. Otherwise you are trespassing."
The signs are being offered by New Farm magazine. They're 8.5 by 12 in. and are printed with ultra-violet resisant ink on semirigid plastic for years of service. A packet of 25 signs costs $2.75 postpaid, 50 cost $39.50, and 100 cost $69.
To order, contact FARM SHOW Followup, New Farm Magazine, P.O. Box 508, Emmaus, Pa. 18049 (ph 215 967-5171).
