New All-In-One Cooking System
Hottest new cooking item introduced at the 1978 National Housewares Expo in Chicago is the new "all-in-one" cooking system from Krups. It does everything - grills, roasts, stews, bakes, boils, fries and barbecues.
The portable unit measures 12 x 12 in. and weighs 161bs. It features Ceran glass technology for infra-red cooking. The basic unit has a double switch, a ceramic hotplate; two grill plates and a casserole. Optional extras include waffle irons, rotary grill with spit for grilling chickens, roasts or shish kabobs. Can be used indoors or outdoors.
Suggested retail cost of the basic unit is $220. Cost of the options includes $50 for the rotary grill and $30 for the waffle irons.
