"Best Buy" Bunning Manure Spreader
Chad Onken, Carroll, Iowa: “We like our Bunning manure spreaders so much we handle parts support and sales for the company in Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. Their 3-year warranty is unheard of in the manure spreader business (ph 306 781-4820; www.dutchmanufacturing.com).
“We bought our first one in 2009 and later sold it to a guy in Oklahoma who’s still using it. We have purchased three more since and use them for spreading manure, lime and potash. We even use them to spread rock in our feedlots.
“The multiple sizes available fit almost anyone’s needs. Models range from 10 to 50 tons, all with vertical beaters. We can control our spread across 30 to 50 ft. and from as low as a ton an acre to 40 tons per acre.
“The augers and knives are made from Hardox iron that’s so hard they just don’t break. They’ll chew up rocks and spit them out. Compared to other manure spreaders on the market, they’re like driving an army tank versus a car.”
