Don't Use Starting Fluid To Wash Grease Off Hands And Parts
Bill Baer, Westville, Okla.: “A FARM SHOW reader said he uses starting fluid to wash grease off hands and parts. As a diesel mechanic, I did the same thing for a long time – until enough fluid soaked through my skin to cause liver and kidney failure. I spent two weeks in the hospital and it took a year to recover. I wouldn’t recommend doing this.”
