Country earrings for country women

"They're one of the best selling items we've ever introduced at fairs and farm shows," says Vern Lyon, jewelry collector and dealer who specializes in animal and tractor earrings. "They're country earrings for country women and make great gifts and conversation pieces."
His line of animal earrings varies from time to time, depending on what his supplier has available. But he generally has pigs, dairy cows, sheep and beef cattle on hand.
His array of tractor earrings covers both new and antique models. For example, among his "best sellers" to nostalgia buffs are earrings depicting Deere's model LA tractor, and the Minneapolis Moline Comfortractor, one of the first to feature a totally enclosed cab.
Prices vary but generally run $10 per set for tractor earrings, and $5 per set for animal earrings. All are for pierced ears.
