Accurate Temperature Taken By Touching Forehead
Philips Electronics' "SensorTouch" thermometer features an infrared sensor that takes multiple readings as it's passed across the temporal artery, calculating body temperature. Readings are given on an LCD read-out.
"It's so gentle it can be used on a sleeping baby. Clinically proven as accurate as a rectal thermometer, which is considered the ęgold standard' by experts," the company says.
Sells for between $70 and $90.
