"Tail Holder" Stops Cows From Kicking
One way to keep a cow from kicking is to have someone hold the tail up in the air while you do the milking or other chores. The problem is that you need another person.
The new "Cow Kicker" solves the problem by automatically holding the tail in an upright position.
It consists of two steel clamps - a hip clamp that goes over the hips and a tail clamp that attaches to the hip clamp.
"It works slick and is designed for quick on-off operation," says inventor Frank Konitzer. "I came up with the idea because I couldn't get anyone to help me at milking time. It works on about 98 percent of cows and heifers that have swelling udders, cut teats, mastitis, or other irritating conditions."
  Sells for $600 plus $25 S&H.
