Combine Grain Tank Extension Fitted With Power Tarp
A new 80-bu. grain tank extension for combines comes with a power tarp that makes covering the tank as easy as flipping a switch.
"Our grain tank extension slopes out on each side and is only about 1 in. higher than the bin fill auger, so it won't interfere getting into machine sheds," says Abe Friesen. "The cover consists of a steel frame that bolts to the top of the extension and a heavy duty vinyl tarp. Steel cables open and close it by rolling it up on a rod. It's powered by a 12-volt motor with a switch in the cab, or you can open and close it with a hand-cranked winch."
Sells for $1,599 plus S&H. The electric-powered version sells for $1,999 plus S&H. Fits most makes and models.
