Igloos Built On Front Lawn
![]() |
We cut the ice with a power saw and haul it to the front lawn. Then, we use snow and water for mortar. I can make one like this in a day and a half, weather permitting.
Finally, we put colored lights inside, which makes it very noticeable at night.
Also, on windy days, it seems a lot warmer inside.
The best thing about it is that I don't have to take it down since mother nature seems to take care of this every March. (Reg Crigger, R.R. 2 Box 40 Johnston Rd., Dryden, Ontario P8N 2Y5, ph 807 937-6616).
